Suzan Harvey is a classically trained lyric soprano.
Her voice, whether in opera, concert or recital is known for possessing a rich, emotional and elegant quality. Suzan’s vocal versatility and musicality combined with her charismatic stage presence engages and paints captivating character portraits on both the opera and concert stages.
Suzan completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and Musicology and then went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Opera at the Victorian College of the Arts. During her studies, she spent over 3 years performing with the Melbourne Chorale and the Melbourne Chorale Ensemble. During her studies she also performed the role of Nicolette in L’amour des Trois Oranges and Sister Angelica in Sour Angelica. Suzan has since performed in numerous professional concerts, including the Fringe Festival and Lygon Street Festivals to name a few. Her recent performances have included full opera productions in the roles of Desdemona, Musetta, Norma, Maria Stuarda and Donna Anna.
